HSBC Money Laundering in Geneva, Switzerland EXPOSED

The practices pioneered by Raiffeisen manager Zumtobel were so profitable that dirty banks in Geneva wanted in.

HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA has been raided by Swiss police over "aggravated money laundering". (Jill Treanor, HSBC private bank in Geneva, Switzerland, Guardian, 15 Feb 2015)

Money laundering is "The process of taking the proceeds of criminal activity and making them appear legal." http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Money+Laundering   The criminal activity involves, in many cases, money stolen by corrupt bankers from their gullible clients.

HUGE LEAK

"The HSBC client data were supplied by Herve Falciani, a former IT employee of HSBC's Swiss private bank, HSBC said. HSBC said Falciani downloaded details of accounts and clients at the end of 2006 and early 2007."

TOP TIER IN ILLEGITIMATE WEALTH

Clients like Morocco's King Mohammed and Santander bankster Emilio Botin. (Steve Slater and Joshua Franklin, HSBC Admits Failings After Reports Reveal Subsidiary Helped Rich Hide Money, Huffington Post, 9 Feb 2015)

As activist Russell Brand puts it:  "Its only the top tier of people, isn't it Max, that are hugely benefiting from fraudulent activity"  (Russell Brand appearing on the Keiser Report, Episode 745, 16 Apr 2015, http://rt.com/shows/keiser-report/249969-episode-max-keiser-745/, minute 14) -- kings and banksters.

Plus a few "arms dealers, people linked to former dictators and traffickers in blood diamonds" (Steve Slater and Joshua Franklin, HSBC Admits Failings After Reports Reveal Subsidiary Helped Rich Hide Money, Huffington Post, 9 Feb 2015) to round out that "top tier".

So, who's at fault here.

SWISS GOVERNMENT A PART OF THE RACKET

The Swiss government is hounding the whistleblower:  "Switzerland has charged Falciani with industrial espionage and breaching the country's secrecy laws." (Steve Slater and Joshua Franklin, HSBC Admits Failings After Reports Reveal Subsidiary Helped Rich Hide Money, Huffington Post, 9 Feb 2015)

Activists would probably blame the corrupt bank.

But really, what top Mafia figures bring their money to Switzerland anymore -- when they could be in Austria?    As top new site NEWS.AT puts it:  "Domestic Banks are involved in Fraud Scandal:  Mafia washes Money in Austria". (see graphic at left)

AUSTRIAN BANKS STONEWALL PROSECUTORS

No pesky fraud audits.  No police raids.  And when major crimes come to light:  "Die betroffenen österreichischen Banken berufen sich auf das Bankgeheimnis und wollten zu den konkreten Ermittlungsergebnissen der römischen Justiz keine Stellungnahme abgeben" -- the criminal Austrian banks claim "banking secrecy", and won't give you away.  (Heimische Banken sind in Betrugsskandal verwickelt: Mafia wäscht Geld in Österreich, NEWS.AT, 7 Mar 2010)

100000 CLEVER THIEVES

"The ICIJ said details of more than 100,000 clients had been obtained from more than 200 countries."  (Steve Slater and Joshua Franklin, HSBC Admits Failings After Reports Reveal Subsidiary Helped Rich Hide Money, Huffington Post, 9 Feb 2015)

Sure these men were good at grabbing the money, but too stupid to bring it right to Raiffeisen in Austria.  If they had, their details would still be secret.

HSBC IS A KNOWN QUANTITY

"HSBC admitted “willful criminal activity” and paid a $1.9 billion fine". (Jerome Corsi and Art Moore, Whistleblower believes HSBC still money-laundering, World Net Daily, 22 Feb 2015)  Zumtobel and the Raiffeisen crew are dirtier, but they haven't been caught yet!
Obviously, HSBC has helped "narcotics traffickers and others to launder hundreds of millions of dollars through HSBC subsidiaries" (Jerome Corsi and Art Moore, Whistleblower believes HSBC still money-launderingWorld Net Daily, 22 Feb 2015), but when Red Mafia boss Semion Mogilevich needed some dirty business fronted, he went straight to Raiffeisen.

SURE HSBC WAS FOUNDED BY TOP DRUG TRAFFICKERS

"The American families Perkins, Astor and Forbes made millions off the opium trade.  The Perkins’ founded Bank of Boston, which is today known as Credit Suisse First Boston.  The Perkins and Morgan families endowed Harvard University.  William Hathaway Forbes was a director at Hong Kong Shanghai Bank shortly after it was founded in 1866.  John Murray Forbes was the US agent for the Barings banking family, which financed most of the early drug trade.  The Forbes family heirs later launched Forbes magazine. Steve Forbes ran for President in 1996.  John Jacob Astor invested his opium proceeds in Manhattan real estate and worked for British intelligence.  The Astor family home in London sits opposite Chatham House.
SURE THEY HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE LAUNDERING DRUG PROCEEDS
These families launched the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Corporation (HSBC) after the second Opium War as a repository for their opium proceeds." (Tyler Durden, HSBC Bank: Secret Origins To Laundering The World's Drug Money, Zero Hedge, 16 Feb 2015)
BUT NOW THEY'VE LOST THE TOUCH
So if you have a load of dirty money, and need confidential service with a smile, take a tip from the pros -- go straight to Raiffeisen Austria"There's an atmosphere of guilt in there" (Russell Brand appearing on the Keiser Report, Episode 745, 16 Apr 2015, http://rt.com/shows/keiser-report/249969-episode-max-keiser-745/, minute 14), but at least they know what they're doing.
